Instuctions For Wearing Sequins

I have mixed feelings about sequins as they can be quite tasteless if they're not paired properly. In my opinion they work well only if you pair them unusually and your aim wearing them is not to look sexy. If you do so, you'll look cheap. Instead, take it easy and try to be playful. You can experiment about what looks good to you and where is the line where you should stop. I really recommend to browse tumblr to get inspiration. It is worth and you won't end up dressed up like a cheap b*tch.

Here are my instructions:
- never wear all sequins
- use them in layering in casual outfits
- use them in mixing materials - pair them with knitted items and plain colours
- let them to be the highlight, don't overuse them
- try to be playful not sexy
