Fifty Shades of Grey via NET-A-PORTER

I've heard a lot of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy so I gave it a try. I finished the first book but I must tell you that it won't be my favourite novel and I felt it a bit soft after the reviews saying ohh my god this is so BDSM and how rough. Yeah it has a lot of porn in it but nothing special. The character of Anastacia drove me crazy I don't like that kind of shy and clumsy people. As far as Mr. Grey concerned, he is so annoying that IRL I would kick him until he dies. Apart from that I'm planning to read the other two books too and despite my disappointment it gave me inspiration that's why I collected these gorgeous grey items from NET-A-PORTER.

    If you didn't like the first book, I suggest you don't even bother with the second and the third, because they're worst than the first one. Imo the first one was alright, I agree with you Anastasia is a pretty dumb character but I loved Christian Grey. Haha! Can't say I wasn't enticed! But overall the book was generally pretty repetitive and reading the next two will just be basically reading the first book again just with other things mixed in, that's not too exciting!

  3. You have a great blog! Great selection of items from Net-a-Porter :) As for 50 shades of Grey, I read it and enjoyed it. It is not your typical book about a love story but it was an easy read. There is a new trilogy out now that is supposed to be hotter and better written and it's called Bared to You. Just started reading it yesterday will let you know once I am done :).   4. I have to agree with you, I was not a fan of the book and actually still haven't finished it and don't plan on it. Totally overrated. Love the grey picks you have selected. My fave would have to be the gorgeous pencil line skirt.

  9. greys are fun but personally I like to mix them with colours.

    The book? I tried but I find the idea of a man dominating a woman a bit too cliche: that already happens a lot in reality-> I want my fantasy novels to turn this around ;)

  24. I like the outfits but I do not think I could bring myself to read the books, I downloaded the preview on iBooks to my iPad, just to see what all the fuss is about and I have not even opened it. I would probably end up wanting to kick everyone until they die if I ever read it. Gah.

    My mum likes it. This distresses me. Is Anastasia as much of a dickhead as Bella from Twilight? Talk about annoying!
